Now in 2023, TikTok brought the trend back when users began demonstrating how they use Freck Beauty's OG Freckle Pen, a fine-tip brush that replicates the appearance of freckles on the skin. To use, simply dip the brush into the pigment, lightly tap clusters of dots onto your face, and press on them with your fingers to copy and paste them to sparse areas — this will create a naturally-faded freckle look.

The blood-hue treatment is made of alpha hydroxy acids (glycolic and lactic) to exfoliate, beta hydroxy acids (salicylic) to diminish acne, and hyaluronic acid to hydrate.
