This cranberry mimosa recipe calls for freshly made homemade cranberry juice. It is a healthy, naturally sweetened, and kid-friendly mocktail that the entire family can enjoy.
I am really obsessed with making homemade non-alcoholic drinks. Because this is my most favorite and preferred way of eating and enjoying fruits. Who on the earth will not love fresh fruits in the form of gorgeous and delicious drinks like pineapple mojito, peach lemonade, strawberry sangria, and this cranberry mimosa, etc.?
A quick disclaimer — these drinks do not contain alcohol so even kids can enjoy sipping them.
If you are like me then I am sure you are gonnalove this refreshing cranberry mimosa mocktail. The best part about this drink is that you can make it using fresh homemade cranberry juice. From my personal experience, I’ve found store-bought cranberry juice to be loaded with chemicals and preservatives that I am not a big fan of.
Additionally, they come in some sort of a blend with other fruit juices which is not always preferable. Even if you are lucky enough to find stand-alone 100% organic natural juice, it will come with a big fat price tag of $10.
Therefore, making fresh juice at home will be cost-effective and healthy, especially when cranberries are in season.
How to make cranberry juice?
If you are wondering…NO!!! it is not at all difficult to prepare fresh cranberry juice at home. You just have to boil cranberries in water for some time. Add a natural sweetener according to your liking while the cranberries are boiling. And finally, strain off the juice using a fine strainer. That’sit! So simple.
How to make Cranberry Mimosa?
Traditionally, any mimosa drink is prepared by combining fruit juice with champagne in a champagneglass. It’s a very simple drink with only two ingredients. However, as our drink is non-alcoholic, I replace champagne with a clear non-alcoholicbeverage like sparkling apple cider.
For making this drink, pour cranberry juice halfway into the champagne glass and then fill it with sparkling apple cider or sparkling grape juice or ginger-ale–your choice!

Is it daft that I have never heard of making your own cranberry juice?! That sounds fantastic – I’m with you, the store bought kind can often be too sweet or overly bitter. My grandmother loves non alcoholic drinks so this ais definetly a contender for Christmas Day!
